Fitness Classes

Pilates

Pilates is a form of exercise that focuses on strengthening the body, with a strong emphasis on core stability. This helps improve overall fitness, posture, and general well-being.

In our classes, we use reformers, which provide added resistance and support to enhance each movement. These machines allow for a wider range of exercises, deeper muscle engagement, and more personalized adjustments to suit all fitness levels.

Similar to yoga, Pilates emphasizes balance, flexibility, and alignment. It is also a low-impact form of exercise, making the risk of injury much lower than more strenuous workouts.

Our sessions are designed as small group classes, allowing for more one-on-one attention and guidance. This ensures proper technique, better results, and a more tailored experience for each participant.

Pilates also strengthens the mind-body connection. During each exercise, you remain focused on your breathing and body movements, promoting both physical and mental awareness.

Cost

Aerial Yoga

Aerial yoga is a type of yoga which uses a silk or yoga swing to allow students to perform postures that they may not ordinarily be able to attempt on the floor. It combines traditional yoga with moves inspired by Pilates, dance and acrobatics. Aerial yoga is thought to be particularly beneficial for students who spend a long time sitting, or who have back pain, because it has a decompressing effect on the body.

  • The hammock is generally less that a meter from the floor

  • Puts less strain on your body in mid-air

  • Strengthens the core as well as arms and legs to support the body being in mid-air

Although aerial yoga can be performed by people with all levels of fitness, it is not recommended for those who suffer from vertigo, due to the flips and inversions practiced in a class.

Cost

Aerial Yoga Group Class one hour: $10 per person.

Weight Room

The Gym That Doesn't Feel Like a Gym

Traditional gyms can feel isolating—everyone plugged into headphones, avoiding eye contact, rushing through their routine. Carabiner's is different. Our members greet each other by name. Class regulars become friends. People spot each other, share tips, and celebrate improvements together.

Our fitness center includes everything you'd find at a traditional gym near you—treadmills, stair master, weight room, free weights—but with a community atmosphere that makes showing up easier and workouts more enjoyable.

  • $10 for a day
